Short Blog 1- Farewell to Arms practice

As we have began this book, I have come to like it and understand the context more. I was not expecting to be invested in reading the novel but so far I am extremely intrigued and enjoy it. I was drawn in when the little game with Cathrine, Henry and Rinaldi. I was shocked at Cathrines actions and quickly found that she is different than most woman at the time period of this novel. She is aware of Henrys actions especially and can predict his moves before he makes them. I knew that she would be an interesting character as soon as she slapped Henry when he went into kiss her. She is seemingly aware and does not put up with any funny business which is respectful but also shows that she has had experience in that area. I am excited to continue this book and get to know the main characters.
